2012 Big year for Sheep

A great day was had by all at the 2012 Booligal Sheep Races winner of the Booligal Cup was “Nicks Last Chance” reced by Tim Hodge and Nick Scott, 2nd was “Proudy” raced for sponsor Brendan Proud and 3rd was “Mareeba Magic” race by Frank Baldwin.

Best deocrated sheep was won by Pippa Sullivan with her sheep “Leonaaaaaaado Mutton Ninja Turtle” 2nd Caldow Family “Dorpinator” and 3rd Pip Iresons  “Stephanie Rice”.

An excellent crowd, and congratulations to Bevan and Sinead Harris who were married at Booligal Station on the morning of the Booligal Sheep Races and then with wedding party and guest attended a great day at the races.

There was also a spectacular fireworks display by Anthony Slattery that night with thanks to the Hilder Family and the Booligal Hotel.
